What character(istic)s are found in your office?

The WARRIOR type - constantly having to prove his/her worth - where life is a constant battle and nothing seems to go right.. Often fights internal demons and is focused on having to achieve personal excellence at all costs!

The MERCENARY type - a "hired killer" - total disregard for people in his/her way - just after the "hit".  Can be selfish, self orientated with little to no ethics - Victory is the name of the game!

The NETWORKER type - the type of person that brings information and inspiration to a disparate group of people.  They expand their sphere of inlfuence by forging alliances and making connections with vastly different people.

So how do you as a manager, manage such a disparate group of characters? 

By working with their "best" attributes of course ! And how do you manage this?  By getting to know what triggers their "down game" and how to facilitate their "up game".
