What’s love got to do with it?
With the month of “love” behind me, and all that it raised, this month’s newsletter is a little philosophical. I became acutely aware these past weeks of what exactly I do love and how I express my love and how I sabotage that which I love. Archetypically my Saboteur “lives” in my highest potential and that which I love: coaching! Interestingly I from time to time found myself questioning my love, my joy (coaching). So let me ask you:When you are questioned around that which you love – how strong is your belief in yourself and your love? Is it easier to give up, to let go or do you find another perspective to aim at your love? My challenge to you is this: Until next time, I thank you for bringing much love and joy into my life! I invite you to visit my website www.inneri.co.za and if what you see piques your interest, call me on 083 267 8354 or drop me an email on Juanene@inneri.co.za
Do you recall Tina Turner’s hit song of 1984 “What’s love got to do with it?”…Well let me ask you: What has love got to do with that which you do? And what does your love song sound like?
The scenes were reminiscent of bad love stories where the self doubting partner spurs the other off into the sunset and then regrets the entire conversation. So as I am prone to do, I went to paper and looked at what it was that was causing this questioning and it simply came down to one thing: love isn’t easy, it’s like a rollercoaster, there are highs and lows, ecstasy and sadness. And yes sometimes it would be “nice” to have a calm ride on the boats at the fair. And yet how would we know ecstasy if we don’t know sadness?
